Ugly nightstands transformed!

These two are for sale! Act fast! $265 for the pair.

I found these bulky old wooden night stands on the Facebook Marketplace, and they were just begging me to be transformed! Can you say 1980s?! The farmhouse style is really en vogue these days, and I absolutely LOVE working with milk paint. I use a paint sprayer for some of my other techniques and for larger pieces, but I always apply milk paint by hand with a paint brush. Nothing beats the antique chippy look that milk paint gets, in my opinion! The tops got sanded down to the natural wood, and a wood conditioner was applied. Then, they got several coats of Jacobean stain by Minwax, and finally they were sealed in gloss polycrylic. The results are delicious!

I'm planning to do a video tutorial in the near future, so you can learn to use milk paint yourself! Please subscribe to my blog and check out my Facebook page for updated content, pieces for sale, and instructional videos.
